About This Course
The Fellowship in Gynec Laparoscopy is a surgically-focused program aimed at turning gynecologists into proficient endoscopists. The training emphasizes “Dry Lab” and “Wet Lab” techniques, culminating in the candidate performing 2 independent Hysteroscopies and 2 independent Myomectomies by the end of the term. You will learn the nuances of energy sources, suturing, and complication management.
Course Overview: Lead by Dr. Sunil Eshwar, this course transforms gynecologists into laparoscopic surgeons. We focus on ergonomic efficiency, safety, and advanced suturing techniques.
Curriculum Highlights:
- Hand-eye coordination training on pelvi-trainers.
- Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy (TLH) techniques.
- Laparoscopic Myomectomy and Endometriosis surgery.
- Independent Milestone: Perform 2 Hysteroscopies and 2 Myomectomies independently by course completion.
